About Our Blogs

Bradley Chesnut, Insurance Automation Consultant - Moderator There's a lot to the agency management system. It's not some single purpose simple little software program.

Instead, it's a complex, very advanced, multi-facet piece of software that helps the agency to more effectively run their agency.

In our blogs we will be covering many different topics specific to the insurance agency management system. We hope you find them informative and educational. After 20 years of working with agency's on agency automation consultant Bradley Chesnut will be the primary blogger. At our home page for our agency management systems you'll find product information.

We've Turned Off The Comments Feature for All Blogs Because…

With our blogs we unfortunately don't allow any comments.  That's because we seem to be the target of an attack from someone who does not want us to succeed.  Let me give you the short version of what's going on.

On September 27, 2009 our WordPress blog hosted at www.agencyateam.com was hacked into.  It was a very unpleasant experience that took us 8 weeks to fix.

Thankfully I'm very close friends with a number of Internet guru's along with being pretty savvy myself. As busy as I am, however, having to deal with a malicious attack wasn't something I wanted to deal with.  Part of our solution process was to move our website over to our full company name URL, www.agencyautomationteam.comNow it's being targeted.  Why do I feel my Agency A-Team websites specifically are being targeted?

I've been online for almost 10 years now, have over 60 websites and have over 15 online businesses that just sit back and make money (none have anything to do with the insurance business).  None of my websites have ever been targeted or have experienced what my Agency A-Team sites have had to put up with.

My Internet guru's are also scratching their head in bewilderment!  My Internet buddies joke with me that I must have really made someone mad, but who?

Keep in mind, I'm just giving you the short version.  I don't want to get hung up on this inconvenience we are consistently having to deal with.  I just simply wanted you to know why we have turned off the comments feature for our blogs.

Goal With Our Blogs

I've been a consultant to agencies for a lot of years and I truly do love what I do.

In the course of my working with agencies, I've also learned a lot.  I love to share my knowledge and experiences with the people I work with so they are able to make better decisions for their agency based upon facts.

I expect and plan to discuss topics that are controversial.   Someone needs to discuss those tough topics.  I can't think of a topic I wouldn't discuss if I feel it's something agencies need to know about.  We'll have fun.

You'll also find I'm not very political.  I don't want to play the brown nosing game.  I just want to be me, be real and take really good care of my clients!

If you have a topic you'd like me to write about, drop me an email at brad@agencyateam.com.

I haven't up to this point written nearly the number of blogs I want to write.  That's because I've been so focused and so committed at getting our management systems out on the market.

You Can Also Follow Us On Twitter

If you want to follow us on Twitter, now you can.  Let me explain the differences between a blog and twitter. With a blog I can write a lot more information and dig into a topic a lot more.

With Twitter you only have 140 characters to work with so with Twitter we'll share quick (and short) pieces of information.  I'll give programming meeting highlights and share other pieces of information I believe agencies will enjoy reading about, or learning. You can follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/AgencyATeam.

There you go.  Enjoy our blog and don't hesitate to offer your thoughts regarding our blogs, and don't hesitate to request specific educational blogs.
