The Account Managers Position with Agency AutomationTEAM, Inc

The Account Manager position is a very important position since it’s the first position prospective agencies will work with where they will draw their first impression of the company.

The Account Manager will work with prospective agencies showing them the advantages CP Manager will offer their agency. The Account Manager must be able to set proper expectations and present the software solution to agencies. Along with this, you will be the point person to the clients in your territory who you will also be working with to make sure their experience with Agency AutomationTEAM is positive and to guide them on how to maximize our services by offering, as needed, additional training and/or add-on’s that will help them achieve their automation goals.

Each Account Manager will be given a territory. This will generally be a few specific states to work.

About Position:

  • This is an exciting sales position. You’ll be on the front line of the next leading agency management system. Spend some time on the website to learn how we have created the next evolution of the agency management system, and then priced it so any agency can afford it.
  • Our President, Mr. Chesnut, has an extensive background with agency management systems to include helping two other systems go from startup to becoming one of the leading systems on the market. In addition to his other responsibilities, as an account manager for the other companies, with the first one he was salesman of the year by over 16% and with the second one he was salesman of the year by over 2 times more than number 2. He’ll be the one working with you and training you. You’ll be working with a world class automation system and will benefit from Mr. Chesnut’s 25 years of extensive experience in this industry.
  • This is a tele-sales position where all sales and discussions will be done by phone.
  • We sell in all 50 states and each account manager will have a territory that could be in the Pacific time zone (our time zone: 9am – 5pm), Mountain (1 hour ahead: 8am – 4pm), Central (2 hours ahead: 7am – 3pm) or Eastern (3 hours ahead: 6am – 2pm). Your work day will start at 9:00 am for your territory which could be between 6:00 am PST to 9:00 am PST. We expect all account managers to be in the building 10 minutes prior to their shift to get their computer setup and ready to make their first phone call at 9:00 am for their territory.
  • You’ll start out as an account manager trainee. Once you’ve shown your ability to effectively present the software system to an agency and answer basic questions you will move to “full account manager” with an increase in your commission percentage.
  • We expect our account managers to make a very attractive income with our Hourly+ Comm + Bonus compensation plan. We’ll provide the details during the interview.
  • You’ll work in a very positive and supportive office, and will greatly appreciate the team spirit among all staff and all of the sales support you’ll have.
  • We are also planning to move one of the Account Managers to a management position overseeing, training and supporting the other Account Managers. We hope to fill this position by the end of the first year.

Requirements:

  • Must have a proven track record in sales. No exceptions.
  • Must be teachable. Mr. Chesnut, our President, has an extensive background as an account manager and was the #1 account manager for the two systems he represented. He knows exactly what it takes to excel in this position.
  • Must be of high morals and ethics. Misrepresenting the product or purposely misleading agencies will not be tolerated.
  • Must not be fearful of cold-calling. Even though we have a complete marketing plan in place along with a “first of its kind” referral program, you’ll still be doing some cold-calling.
  • Must be organized and efficient. This will allow you to work with more prospective agencies along with continuing to be an account manager for your clients.
  • Must be a team player.
  • If you have P&C insurance experience, this will be very helpful. P&C insurance experience and a proven record in sales will put your resume at the top of the list.
