The Customer Support Specialist Position with Agency AutomationTEAM, Inc

The Customer Support Specialist will provide support to our clients, another very important position to the company. In this position you’ll work with our clients via the phone answering questions and helping them to effectively use our system.

About Position:

  • You will be working with our clients answering questions and supporting them on our insurance agency management system. All support is by phone and email.
  • Hours of support are from 6am to 5pm PST. This provides support for agencies on the east coast starting at 9:00am EST. Due to an 11 hour support time, we will be running split shifts each day to fill all 11 hours per day.
    • Or we can offer 4 days at 10 hours for CSS’s who are able to spend 10 hours on the phone each day.
    • With a split shift a CSS will be working 5.5 – 7 hours per day.
  • When necessary and as time allows you’ll help Account Managers by answering questions of prospective agencies. We’re a team all helping each other.
  • The most talented CSS’s who really master our system will have the opportunity to move to training positions which include a pay raise.
  • In addition, the most organized CSS who works the best with the staff as a whole and has a solid working knowledge of the CP Manager will be considered for a position in management overseeing the CSS department.
  • We offer an hour wage. Unique to this position, CSS’s will have the opportunity to make additional money with bonuses.

Requirements:

  • Your P&C insurance experience and with an agency management system will put you at the top of the list. If you have experience with an agency management system, be sure to include which one in your cover letter.
  • Must be comfortable on computers and using software applications. Not only will you be supporting our clients using the CP Manager agency management system, you’ll also need to learn our custom written internal system.
  • Must have impeccable people skills. You’ll be working with our clients who are very important to us and deserve a high level of support and service.
  • Must learn quickly. The first thing you’ll need to learn is our internal database system you’ll be using and the CP Manager which you’ll be supporting agencies on.
